Toon Striker Joins Scottish Club

The 20-year-old has been tracked by both Scottish sides for months, but knocked back St Mirren and signed an 18-month contract with the Scottish Premier League side.

Falkirk offered him a loan spell but Newcastle preferred that he leave immediately as they said he would not be offered a new deal in summer.

Finnigan has not made a Newcastle first-team appearance but has scored 59 goals in 102 appearances for the Reserves, and English lower league sides (including Accrington Stanley ... "Accrington who?" were interested.
