Toon 'Spineless' For Chelsea Fixture

Coloccini suffered a knee injury on New Year’s Day, and the defender could make his comeback against Aston Villa at St James’s Park on February 23.

Alan Pardew: “Coloccini will hopefully return in the next week weeks, maybe against Aston Villa.

“Papiss (Cisse) has a little bit of a problem, and he’s still not ready.”

So, take away Tim Krul, and Newcastle would have lost their entire "spine".

As Sir Bobby Robson used to tell us: "Every successful team has a strong spine - goalkeeper, central defender, central midfielder and striker."

With Colo missing, we have lost Yohan Cabaye - and Chiek Tiote is also rumoured to be missing for Stamford Bridge - and Loic Remy.

Thank God for Tiger Tim!
