Chris Hughton: "Plans, of course, will be worked on over the coming weeks and through the summer.

"The most important thing at the moment is that we have got real competition in the squad for places.

"It's a squad that has been good enough to see us get promotion, good enough to see us through the season with the record we have had, and we have to be mindful of that.

"There have been sides that have gone down and come back up again and have fared relatively well in the division without too much change.

"Those are the decisions we will have to make, but what we have got is a side that has got real good momentum at the moment.

"The discussions will continue. We will have to look at the areas that we feel we need to strengthen, or have cover. They are the normal processes at any club.

"Like I say, the players we have at the moment are the players in pole position, they are the ones that are playing and they are the ones that are fighting for a position. But talks will continue right through the next few weeks and over the summer."
