Newcastle United have agreed to play in a testimonial for Norwich City's long-serving central defender Craig Fleming.
The game, for one of Craig Bellamy's biggest pals, will take place at Carrow Road (pictured right) on Tuesday, July 26 and will be an important part of Glenn Roeder's pre-season plans.
Roeder already has a two-legged InterToto Cup tie first at St James' Park, on July 15 or 16, and then in either Northern Ireland, Iceland or, more likely, Norway on July 22.
United are also in the process of arranging two home Saturday friendlies against attractive European opposition on July 29 and August 5 or 12, before the Premiership starts on August 19.
These will be against Champions League teams, but one of the games has fallen by the wayside because of the current controversy surrounding Italian football.
