According to SKY Sports, reports in Greece claim Manchester United have firmed up their interest in Olympiakos starlet Kryiakos Papadopoulos, but Newcastle are set to match their offer.

Mike Ashley claims he will not being putting any more money into the club, and transfers are "on hold".

So the centre-half will be on his way to Old Trafford.

Still only 16, Papadopoulos is already part of the first-team squad at the Karaiskakis Stadium and became the youngest player in Greek League history last season.
