Toon Defender Says Pressure Is Off Him

Danny Simpson is now officially a Newcastle player, having signed from Man Utd, and he says the pressure is off him. He also feels his injury problems are now behind him.

Danny Simpson: “Just before I signed I got injured against West Brom in the last 10 minutes of the game. I didn’t feel anything tonight, so it seems I’ve overcome that.

“It’s good to get in my first game as a permanent player for Newcastle. It means a lot, and I enjoyed it.”
