Toon Bench Looking Stronger!

However, striker Obafemi Martins remains a major doubt after suffering a groin injury just before he scored his side's second goal against Pompey.

Kinnear: "The bench was very strong last week because we have got [Damien] Duff back and Taylor back, so everybody is looking over their shoulders and that gets the best out of the players who are holding the shirts.
"We are monitoring Oba, but it is touch and go. We are going to leave it as late as possible.

"He will have a fitness test on Saturday morning, but it's not looking too good at the moment.

"He got injured just before he scored, and that was why he didn't do his normal somersaults.

"He would be a big loss to us because we certainly need his pace. He has caused numerous problems to all the opposition we have played.

"But it is just wait and see, really."
