Newcastle and Sunderland played out a 1-1 draw in the Tyne & Wear Derby on Sunday lunchtime with Aleksander Mitrovic's late header cancelling out Jermaine Defoe's first half volley.
It was new Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez's first point and it stopped a run of four straight defeats for the Magpies.
