Tell The Truth Pardew! The Reason Is ...

... Newcastle will concentrate on Europe rather than Britain because they look for value for money in the summer transfer market.

But, if you look at the article below ... two British players have snubbed him to join HULL CITY!

Pardew: "The fees being paid for players such as Luke Shaw and, it seems, Adam Lallana, illustrate an important point that supporters need to understand.

"Clubs like Newcastle get accused of not signing English players, but these are prices mid-table teams in the Premier League simply cannot afford, unlike Champions League clubs with their extra revenue.

"We recently inquired about an unproven player not in the side at one of our top clubs, and we were asked [for] £14million. He will not be joining.

"Yet we can pick up players such as Yohan Cabaye, Mathieu Debuchy and Moussa Sissoko for reasonable fees, all of whom have been starring for France at the World Cup."

Tom Ince

Tom Ince has arrived at Hull City for talks about a possible move to the KC Stadium.

The 22-year-old winger has attracted interest from a number of clubs = including Newcastle - since leaving Blackpool at the end of last season and Hull appear to have won the race for his signature.

Ince travelled to Italy last month to discuss a possible move to Inter Milan, but decided to remain in England.

Ince's contract at Blackpool has expired, but the Seasiders will still receive compensation because he is under 23.

Robert Snodgrass

Hull have announced the signing of another Alan Pardew target -Robert Snodgrass - on a three-year deal from Norwich for an undisclosed fee.

The clubs agreed a fee for the 26-year-old on Thursday, understood to be a one-off payment of £7million, and personal terms have now been settled on the winger's switch to the KC Stadium.

It is the second major signing of the close season for the Tigers, who last week bought former loanee Jake Livermore from Tottenham for a club record fee rising to £8million.
