Taylor Goes Into Battle

Having skippered the side to a fabulous 3-0 win on Friday, Taylor knows
two wins from their first two Euro 2009 qualifiers would put England in early command of Group three.

Under-21 coach Stuart Pearce wants England Under-21s to maintain their momentum in Bulgaria.

Pearce: "Our goal is to get on the plane on Tuesday night with six points.

"The under-21s and seniors live off each other, like a reserve team and a first team at any given football club.

"If you keep winning it breeds a nice feelgood factor. We're a long way away from the seniors but the first text I get is from their manager Steve McClaren telling me 'great result'.

"Soon as they get a good result, the first person I ring is him and congratulate him."
