Take Our Advice Paul Ince ... And Stay At Blackburn!

The Blackburn Rovers boss has come into the frame after No 1 target Gus Poyet distanced himself from speculation linking him with the vacant post.

Ince - a long-standing friend of United's executive director (football) Dennis Wise from their England days - only joined the Ewood Park club in the summer after cutting his managerial teeth with MK Dons and Macclesfield Town in the Football League.

And Blackburn will fight Newcastle all the way to hang on to the 40-year-old, briefly a player under Wise at Swindon Town before he hung up his boots and started his career in management.
