Steve Howard's 'Shearer Celebration'?

"He is our main striker and he is from Newcastle," says the Derby supporter.

"When he scores he raises his hand up like Alan Shearer used to, as Shearer is his fav player.

"So IF he does score don't think he's takin the p!$$."

Which immediately brings back memories of Geordie boy and "fierce Newcastle supporter" Graeme Fenton ... who cost us the Premiership title back in 1996!

How can we forget him? We were 1-0 up against Blackburn Rovers through a rare goal from David Batty - against his old club - when the Geordie boy hit us with a brace.

Blackburn won 2-1, and although we didn't lose another game that season, Manchester United pipped us for the title.

I'm not saying it will happen again tonight, with Howard finding the net and costing us three points. But if he does ... he'll be no Geordie to the Toon Army!

Let's hope he keeps his nose clean, has a quiet game, we take the points back to Tyneside ... and Howard will be welcome dooon the Bigg Market anytime!
