Back on the bench?
Sir Bobby looks set to name the same starting line-up for the third game running, with Gary Speed and Andy O’Brien still not fit to return.

Andy Griffin is fit but serves a one-match ban for collecting five yellow cards, Hugo Viana, Carl Cort and Jamie McGlen are still unavailable because of injury and Clarence Acuna is still in Chile caring for his sick mother.

Titus Bramble is in the squad and may return to the bench.

Spurs have no new injuries or suspensions and will name the team that beat Aston Villa last time out.

Squads:

United: Given, Harper, Bernard, Hughes, Elliott, Dabizas, Bramble, S.Caldwell, Jenas, Dyer, Kerr, LuaLua, Solano, Bellamy, Shearer, Robert, Ameobi.

Spurs:
