Spurs Keep The Vultures Away From St James' Park!

Out on the raz in Newcastle last week, my friend and I popped along to the Gallowgate End to see Sky TV reporter David Craig - who has been pitched outside SJP for several months since Kevin Keegan got on his bike.

The guy had very little to say, which was unusual as he LOVES a little gossip, and he said his days outside the Gallowgate were drawing to a close.

The big story has switched from Tyneside to North London, and for once trhis season the Geordies can laugh at someone else!

Juande Ramos admitted Tottenham's situation was "terrible" after Stoke's 2-1 win condemned his side to their sixth defeat in eight games.

Tottenham's worst start to a season in their entire history ... and Ramos feeling the pressure.

To make matters worse, Gareth Bale and Michael Dawson will be suspended after picking up red cards.

Ramos: "I am worried about the situation. At the moment it is terrible.

"Last season we won the Carling Cup and everyone was very happy.

"At this moment everyone is very sad and I am worried about it as I don't like this situation.

"Sometimes football is difficult to explain. We had two penalties against us, two players sent off, some players injured.

Spurs face Bolton, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City as their next four league opponents and I'm sure that will keep the buggers rooted to bottom place.

What a shame, eh?
