Spurs Injury Problems Can Only Boost Toon Hopes!

The Magpies travel to Wigan Athletic on Boxing Day and entertain Liverpool two days later, and Newcastle could put real distance between themselves and the relegation zone.

Also in Newcastle's favour is the injury situation at Spurs.

Harry Redknapp says the north London club are "down to the bare bones", as they have key players injured.

Redknapp has threatened to play a number of youth-teamers against Spartak Moscow this week, with Redknapp's defence in tatters ... which can only be good news for Joe Kinnear.
