Masks can be bought for £9.99 at Magicbox in Percy Street, Newcastle, who have pledged to donate £1 from every mask sale to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.
But several Magpies fans have e-mailed us suggesting: "Gutiérrez said it was a one-off celebration and he won't be doing it again.
"After all - the masks are RED - and what Toon fan wants to be seen dead in Mackem traditional colours?
"Why not hand over the £9.99 to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation ... I'm sure it will be a better reward than handing it over to a joke shop."
