Smith Tells Keegan - Hands Off!

The Spanish defender has been a revelation at Ibrox since his arrival from Osasuna last summer, and both Kevin Keegan and Terry McDermott have travelled to watch him on more than one occasion this term.

The giant centre half was instrumental in Rangers' pursuit of honours last season as he helped them to win the Scottish Cup and CIS Insurance Cup.

Smith: "We don't want any enquiries for him.

"He has played exceptionally well for us this season.

"For his first year in a foreign country he has had a fantastic season.

"We don't want any enquiries for him. If we do we will try as hard as we possibly can to keep him."
