Shearer's Fondness For The Kop!

Shearer won the Premier League title in front of the Kop with Blackburn in 1995 in one of his finest moments as a player, but Liverpool could hammer another nail into Newcastle's top- flight coffin.
Alan Shearer: "We are relying on other people. Results went for us at the weekend, apart from the Blackburn one.
"But it's going to be a tense end to the season, we all know that.
"We have got to make sure we are still in there fighting come the second last, come the last game of the season.
"I don't know what is going to be enough to stay up.
"I would dearly love to think we could go to Anfield and get something.
"We will be trying to do that.
"Everybody will write us off for Liverpool. And I understand that. But we'll go there prepared and see what happens.
"They are under pressure too, they are going for the title.
"I saw them at Hull, and they didn't play particularly well but won the game. You never know in football."
