Former Newcastle United and England legend Alan Shearer says the game at Swansea City on Saturday is "massive" for Crystal Palace, amid their poor run of form.

The Eagles have lost their last five games in a row in the Premier League, leaving them just above the relegation zone with 11 points from 12 games.

And the former Southampton, Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle striker, who now works as a pundit for the BBC, says he believes Palace are in trouble.

Speaking on Match of the Day this weekend, he said: "No clean sheets in 17 games and the lowest points total this year across all the divisions, they are in trouble.

"It is such a massive game for them at Swansea."

Palace make the trip to south Wales on Saturday to take on bottom side Swansea City, who are without a home win all season and have collected just six points from the opening 12 games.
