Shearer "Let's Win It!"
Alan Shearer: "We've got to take our recent good form into that game (against Pompey). We're playing with confidence now, which is something we didn't have at the start of the season for one reason or another.
"Our last two victories have put us in good stead and we've got to carry that on. We've got one or two injury problems, but so have Pompey. If we approach the game like we have in our last two games, then there is no reason why we can't get the three points."
"We (Shearer and Michael Owen) enjoyed good times with England and we're good friends off the pitch so it's not taken long to get into the groove," he continued.
"He's (Owen) a top drawer player, if you give him chances he'll score goals, that's guaranteed."
