Jose Enrique's season appears to have been brought to a premature end with the news that he has picked up a hamstring strain.
The Spaniard lasted just 20 minutes against Pompey.
Shearer: "It was his hamstring, so a different injury to the one he had.
"How bad? We don't know.
"He will undergo a scan, but my experience of hamstrings tells me he is unlikely to be fit for the weekend (trip to Liverpool)."
