Shearer At Sam Jacks - A Warning For The Future!

Shearer said the financial situation at the club is not healthy due to "mis-management in the past" and relegation could see the club plunge into crisis!

He admitted he DID try and bring Kenny Dalglish to the club as his right-hand man, something that appeared in a Sunday newspaper but was dismissed by many fans.

He admitted several players "are not good enough", although I'm sure he knew that long before he took over (he is a season ticket holder after all).

As for his future at the club, he again said he was brought in for eight games and "eight games only", but hinted (in an "off the record" sort of way) he could reconsider if the club remains in the Premiership.

All in all ... we didn't learn much we didn't know already.
