Shay Sidelined Again With Groin Problems!

For years Given was the regular face and first name on the team sheet, but recently he has suffered a number of injuries and we have to be grateful we have Harper in reserve.
The Irish international faces a spell on the sidelines with a groin injury.
Given was a late withdrawal from the match on Saturday, and Magpies boss Sam Allardyce expects the 'keeper to be missing for up to three weeks.
He will be absent for next weekend's Tyne-Wear derby with Sunderland.
Allardyce: "It will be two or three weeks. It's a little bit of a worry because it's another groin injury.
"From Shay's point of view it's probably been down to an overtrained situation.
"He's probably damaged the muscle again, but it's not as fearful as we first thought."
