But, lookin on the bright side, Taylor believes Newcastle are still a club looking up.Fans have been furious that Mike Ashley's promises of "money to spend in the transfer window" were again nothing less than bullshit ... empty pomises from a man who has continued to spew lies after lies.
Ashley made a profit - we lost one of the best goalkeepers in world football - and we could suffer because of it.
But Taylor says "the club must move on".
Taylor: "Shay served the club very well.
"And he was a fantastic servant to the club.
"We are sad to see him go but life has to on at Newcastle United.
"We need to get as many points as we can on the board as soon as possible.
"We need to take it game by game, if we do that then we will have a great chance of stabilising the situation."
