Newcastle United reserves were beaten 3-0 last night by Aston Villa’s second string at Villa Park.

Goals from Stephen Cooke, Luke Moore and Gabriel Agbonlahor were enough to see off a Newcastle team that included Titus Bramble for the first time this season.

The ex-Ipswich star conceded both a free-kick and a penalty that ultimately led to Villa goals.
