Scotland Legend Hits Out At Mackems!

To be honest with you, is it because Jock goalkeepers are traditionally rubbish that suddenly everyone in a kilt sees Gordon as the saviour of Scottish football?

Because I don't think he'd get into Newcastle's third team ... as substitute on the bench!

The way he left James Milner's cross/shot for "dead" on Saturday ... thinking it was going wide ... is a case in point!

Andy Goram: "Craig Gordon is only 24. So he has four years for his best years to come.

"Playing in the Premiership helps, but the only thing is that Sunderland are up against it every week.

"I would like to have seen him go to Arsenal or somewhere, where you have to make one save a game rather than seven or eight.

"I would rather he had gone to a really top-class side. No disrespect to Sunderland, but you need to know if he can make that one top-class save a game that marks out the greats.

"I think he can do it. Personally, I don't think he will be staying at Sunderland for too long.

"I think he will be going on to bigger and better things than that."

Play for ARSENAL? Is he SERIOUS !!!
