The 20 year old arrived at Bootham Crescent last month on a short term loan deal and the player has impressed City Manager Jackie McNamara enough to earn an extension to his stay in North Yorkshire.

Satka has made 5 appearances for York City so far and has impressed in spells although the player has been at fault for some of the goals which The Minstermen have recently conceded and the player was dropped for the match against Luton Town at Bootham Crescent last Saturday.

The Slovakian defender has represented his country at Under 17, Under 19 and Under 21 levels. The player has made one appearance for parent club Newcastle United so far in an FA Cup tie back in January 2015 but is highly rated by the Premier League club.

Satka began his career as a youngster at Slovakian club MFK Dubnica and was snapped up by English Premier League club Newcastle United, joining The Magpies as a youth team player at 16 years of age.

The defender appeared for Newcastle United against York City in a pre season friendly at Bootham Crescent in the summer.
