And how ironic that he put out his strongest team (when others like Birmingham, Charlton, Man Utd and Arsenal put out reserves sides), and we suffered defeat.The Carling Cup draw takes place on Saturday lunchtime at 12.15pm, and obviously we won't be in it.
The teams left in the draw are Arsenal, Blackburn Rovers, Blackpool, Bolton Wanderers, Cardiff, Chelsea, Coventry City, Everton, Leicester City, Liverpool, Luton Town, Manchester City, Portsmouth, Sheffield United, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United.
Chelsea are now favourites, taking over from Man Utd who were knocked out by Coventry City.
As for the FA Cup, Sam's hopes of a first trophy are 20/1.
