According to TMW, Newcastle United are interested in snapping up Edin Dzeko from Roma this summer.
Salomon Rondon has led the line for Newcastle this season, and he has done a credible job.
However, there are some doubts over whether the Venezuelan’s loan move will be converted to a permanent one.
While most Newcastle fans are behind the idea of bringing Rondon to St. James’ Park on a longer-term basis, if the opportunity to sign Dzeko arose then he would be an upgrade.
Dzeko has hit five goals in six Champions League games this season, to prove he can still score at the very highest level.
