... gifting Reading their second goal at St James' Park on Wednesday.

The Nigerian international took stick for a few minutes after the goal, but to be honest, this has been coming for months as he struggles to find form or (at times) even look interested.

But it was his miskick that finally upset the supporters so much they wanted to show their frustration. It may have been a shock to some, and I saw a few arguments between fans, but it was only a matter of time.

Roeder: "Babayaro showed immense courage and bravery to play through that difficult period. I was quite surprised at the reaction he was getting when he was on the ball early in the second half.

"But he kept showing for the ball and playing well and it all changed again and our supporters got behind him again."
