Roeder "Forget The Past - Let's Move On!"

Shay Given, Steve Harper, Stephen Carr, Titus Bramble, Steven Taylor, Kieron Dyer, Nicky Butt, Charles N'Zogbia and James Milner were all in the 18 in Lisbon in April 2005 when a 2-0 aggregate lead evaporated inside 70 disastrous minutes as a trip to the semi-finals faded away.

Roeder: "That has no bearing, as far as I am concerned, on tomorrow's game.

"I was not involved in the game. There might be some players who were involved, but I have always tried to look forward.

"If you keep looking backwards in life, you will be forever falling over. Just stand up straight and move forward, that is what we are doing.

"We go into the game as it stands at the moment not needing to score. People keep saying, 'you will score' - it might be the case we need to score, but as it stands, we do not need to score a goal.

"Nil-nil will do very nicely, thank you, 0-0 is a lovely result.

"Titus Bramble is on a good run of form at the moment. As everyone knows, his contract finishes at the end of this season and it is important for him to secure a new contract that he plays well right until the end of the season.

"In many respects, he is playing for his future. That often brings the best out in players."
