Roeder Forced Into A Corner ... Again!

Once again his skipper, Scott Parker, remains sidelined and is a major doubt for Wednesday night's FA Cup third-round replay against Birmingham due to a stomach muscle injury.

The ex-Chelsea player missed Sunday's tremendous 3-2 win at Tottenham and, to add to the midfield problems, Emre will once again be out with a calf problem. So Roeder looks as though he will be forced to say "same again" and keep with the youngsters.

Damien Duff, Michael Owen and Charles N'Zogbia (all knee), Shola Ameobi and Olivier Bernard (both hip), Celestine Babayaro and Craig Moore (both hamstring), Titus Bramble (calf) and Stephen Carr (foot) are all out.
