Roeder Does Not Fear Dutch Trip

Glenn Roeder: "We will go there and do a thoroughly professional job. We certainly know AZ are going to come and attack - they have to. I can certainly see their best form of defence is to attack, and they need to do that next Thursday.

"But, with Obafemi Martins in the team, I would like to think, on the counter-attack, we will go down the other end and score a goal or two.

"Sometimes we would have got away with the penalty decision, sometimes we would not, and tonight, we did not.

"The referee decided it was a penalty when other referees would have looked at that as totally accidental.

"Steven never moved his arm and, to be honest, as the home team, you often get the breaks in situations like that. But tonight, we did not.

"What is frustrating is that Shay made a terrific save, Scott Parker got back and got a very, very good tackle in and it still spewed out to the lad to score the goal and make it 4-2.

"It is just a shame that Oba, who had a terrific game, did not get his hat-trick when he went through for 5-2."
