Riise's brother has revealed the Liverpool defender was so disappointed by his own goal against Chelsea on Tuesday he did not even want to speak to his family.
The Reds have an uphill task to reach the Champions Leaguefinal after the Norwegian headed into his own net in the last minute to hand Chelsea a 1-1 draw in the first leg of the semi-final on Tuesday.
Bjorn Helge Riise, who plays for Norwegian club Lillestrom, said: "I tried getting in contact with John Arne after the game.
"Eventually he sent me back a text message, saying 'I don't want to speak. I'm so disappointed. Give me a call back in a couple of days and we'll speak then'."
Keegan will allegedly make his move when the season ends.
