I was at Cardiff (to watch England) and just about everyone - to a man - booed the English anthem.

Now Fabio Capello has called on England fans to respect the Welsh national anthem at Wembley on Tuesday.

Capello has weighed into the argument, expressing his distaste for the booing of both national anthems by fans in Cardiff last March.

Fabio Capello: "You need to respect the other countries.

"I remember in Cardiff, I didn't like the boos against the other country.

"As a manager and a player, the anthem is a really important moment. You are wearing the shirt with your heart.

"We are part of the country.

"Racism is a terrible thing.

"I am against it absolutely.

"I don't like racist people.

"I didn't hear what happened in Bulgaria. I was focussed on the game. But we need to fight against racists."
