Reserves Hammered By Wanderers

This result helped Wanderers claw themselves away from the bottom of the FA Premier Reserve League table, and asked a few questions about Tommy Craig's side.

Hill struck a rather scrappy opener on 50 minutes when firing past goalkeeper Tony Caig from close range.

On 78 minutes pacy striker Smith beat Magpies defender Liam Atkin to the ball to find the net from just inside the area, and this was quickly followed by a Wanderers third some sixty seconds later as the young Connecticut-born flier Smith made good use of a calculated midfield pass by Dale Whitehead to beat Caig once more.
