Along with Lee Clark and Robbie Elliott, Titus Bramble completed 90 minutes of Newcastle United reserves' 1-0 defeat by Everton at Southport's Haig Avenue.
Bramble, who has just recovered from injury, was up against Everton's £7m man James Beattie in the first half - and kept the England international quiet.
Reserve team coach Tommy Craig said today: "The three first-teamers all got in a good 90 minutes and Titus cruised through it all even though he was up against Beattie in the first half."
United Reserves lost for the first time this season when Everton's Chinese international Li Tie got the only goal of the game seven minutes after the break.
NEWCASTLE UNITED RESERVES: Caig, Baxter, Elliott, Bramble, Edgar, Gate, Atkin (Cave 58mins) Clark, Finnigan, O'Brien, Marshall (Farman 58)
Subs not used: Smith, Shanks.
