Remy Won't Be A Toon Player Next Season!

Last updated : 09 October 2013 By Footy Mad - Editor

dHaving been previously on the brink of signing for Newcastle last January, the France international did the dirty on Mike Ashley by using the offer of his private plane ... only to arrive in London (and rather than go to meet Ashley's officials to sign the transfer form) he legged it to Loftus Road and signed for QPR.

He former team mates in France say he is destined for the top - but MONEY is his God - and money will always come first in his life.

Ashley has a wage cap at Newcastle, with Fabricio Coloccini at the top of it - allegedly on £60,000 per week.

Remy got £80,000 at QPR, and he is looking at MORE when he signs a new deal.

That immediately rules out Newcastle!

He has immediately shown what QPR missed out on last season with five goals in his last three games ... and he has his sights on the World Cup in Brazil ... knowing his price will rocket if he does well.

Alan Pardew revealed his regret over not signing the 26-year-old at the beginning of the year, indicating the club will do all they can to sign him on a permanent deal at the end of the season.

But - trust me - it ain't gonna happen.

Although he admits he is enjoying working under Pardew, the former Marseille man insists he will not be rushed into making a decision.

"I regret nothing. I decided to join QPR in January. I was happy to see Newcastle back for me, and I now do my best for the club as they have tried to sign me twice," Remy was quoted as saying by Le10Sport .

"Pardew? He is very close to me. He tells me a lot and helped me refocus on my game and it helped me a lot, especially in terms of adaption (to Newcastle.)

"But for what will happen next, I do not know. For now, I have not decided on anything that happens after my loan period. I have time to make a choice."

QPR boss Harry Redknapp announced last week the Frenchman does not figure in his long term plans at Loftus Road - because they cannot afford him!

Harry Redknapp: "Remy wanted to go to Newcastle, so good luck to him. I hope he does well.

"He's not in my thoughts. I only want people who are here and want to be here, that's all I'm concerned with.

"Taarabt and all those who've gone on loan, good luck to them. I hope they do well, stay where they are and get a contract there."

Kinnear - Villain Or Hero For Keeping Cabaye?

PLEASE VOTE

dYohan Cabaye has suggested Newcastle United's director of football Joe Kinnear is the reason why his summer switch to Arsenal did not take place.

And let's clear this up - Cabaye was the subject of a £10m bid from the Gunners on the FRIDAY before the MONDAY Premier League opener at Manchester City. Not on the eve of the match as Alan Pardew claims.

The Frenchman not only refused to play in that fixture, but refused to play against Fulham and the Capital One Cup trip to Morecambe as he attempted to drive through a move to the Emirates.

Arsenal opted to break the British transfer record to land Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid instead of offering the £20m asking price Newcastle wanted.

Speaking yesterday ahead of France’s friendly with Australia on Friday, Cabaye refused to discuss his reasons for not playing for Newcastle – while hinting Kinnear knows more.

The Newcastle midfielder said: “I won’t explain about that today (strike in the summer at Newcastle), it is not for me to answer, I don’t want to talk about it. This is a press conference for the national team.

“It is already over, the only person who could talk about (what happened in the summer) is Joe Kinnear, it will never leave my mouth.”
