Ramos Back On The Trail For N'Zogbia!

Moyes wants to sign out-of-favour Bent for around half of the £16million Spurs spent on him a year ago when they bought him from Charlton.

And Spurs boss Juande Ramos is said to be ready to talk business.

The new Spurs manager has big ambitions and usually what he wants - he gets - as free-spending Tottenham have hopes of breaking the Big Four this coming campaign.

Ramos has already sounded out Newcastle about N'Zogbia, and Kevin Keegan says the player can leave at the right price.

With Aaron Lennon saying he would "jump at the chance to join Newcastle United", there are a couple of possibilities.

Spurs could buy N'Zogia outright, or do a deal with Lennon.

N'Zogbia asked Keegan for a transfer last month, then Spurs cooled on the deal, and the French 22-year old then made a U-turn and insisted that he has no desire to leave Newcastle despite speculation to the contrary.

N'Zogbia: "I am happy at Newcastle United and, to tell the truth, I have always been.

"At the moment, all I am concentrating on is playing for the French Under 21 squad in Sweden at the end of this month and then, like the rest of the Newcastle squad, looking at what players we are going to get in the close season.

"I have been at Newcastle since I was 17 and I have never been involved in a fight with anyone.

"And why would I pick a fight with Abdoulaye Faye? Not only is he a friend of mine, but he is also a little bit bigger than me."
