Quinn Tells Ashley 'Get Out Of Our Club!'

Newcastle United have been linked with being at the centre of a takeover following their Premier League clash with Liverpool at the weekend.

And former Newcastle forward Quinn has suggested that he would love to see the rumours prove to be true, especially as it will lead to the end of Ashley's unpopular time as owner at St James' Park.

"I hope he goes," he told The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast on talkSPORT (broadcast on 5th October 2017; 6:21 am). "This lady, she tried to buy Spurs, tried to buy Liverpool. Newcastle I think is a fantastic club to buy.

"You've got a guaranteed 52,000 people there. It's in the city-centre. There's so many pluses to buying Newcastle United. They're back in the Premier League.

"I hope this consortium goes through and Ashley just gets out."
