Senior members of the backroom staff would previously get four tickets in a private box at St James’ Park for family and friends but the privilege has been withdrawn ahead of the new season.
Kit men and administrative staff previously received two tickets, but that will no longer continue.
All the players, coaching staff and others must now pay for their match tickets.
