Place Your Bets On Luque v Mackems

Roeder: "Albert returned to training last Friday after his ankle injury and we let him go back to Spain at the weekend.

"He has come back with a spring in his step and worked really hard in training this week, and we will have another look at him today before deciding whether to put him in our Easter squad.

"But I have to say the season is not over for Luque.

"It will not be humanly possible to play the same 11 against Sunderland as we will against Wigan Athletic so we will use the whole squad carefully and intelligently over the next two days."

Having won our bet that the striker wouldn't last 30 minutes in that Reserve team fixture a few weeks ago - he lasted 13 before falling over and hobbling off - we are most concerned that he could be considered for the blood-and-thunder battle against the Mackems.

How long will he last in that one if he starts the match? The latest betting from William Hill:

10 mins - 2/1
10-20 - 5/4
20-30 - 4/1
30-45 - 8/1
90 mins - 150/1
