Ayoze Perez talking to NUFC TV: “We are disappointed, we don’t deserve what happened.
"So we have to stick together because we played really well, we created a lot of chances – some decisions maybe changed the game.
“I don’t want to say anything about the penalty but a sending off has a big impact on the game and that is what happened.
“It was a penalty (Cattermole on Wijnaldum just before Sunderland’s penalty), Cattermole hit him with his elbow and the ball touched his hand, for me it is a penalty.
“Only 1-0 and we had that big (Mitrovic) chance, we created more than that as well, so unlucky."
