Peter Beardsley: "They had a bad day at the office against West Brom, and like Birmingham and ourselves, they didn't start the season well. But they don't let in a lot of goals, which must be encouraging for them, and David Moyes will get them away from the drop zone.
"I really enjoyed my time at Everton. When I made the trip from Liverpool some said I would have a difficult time, but that didn't happen. I was excepted without problem.
"We didn't win anything while I was there but I wouldn't look back on it as a bad move. I got on well with manager Howard Kendal, and I have no regrets at all."
