Pardew Frustration Grows With Cisse

Cisse could be sold to Rubin Kazan with the Russian transfer window still yet to close, but the player has yet to make up his mind.

The fact remains - Cisse WAS offered to  Cardiff City, West Bromwich Albion and Arsenal in the January transfer window, so United have him on the market.

Whether that was Cisse's choice, we aren't sure.

There has been a downward spiral of the Newcastle striker which has been magnified by Loic Remy's good form.

Cisse, 28, has been linked with a Newcastle exit for some time after struggling to recapture the form he produced upon arriving at the club from Freiburg in 2012.

A transfer to Fenerbahce failed to materialise in January, as confirmed by Alan Pardew, although we were told it was only a loan deal.

But a switch to Rubin could still be on the cards for Cisse, with the Russian transfer window not due to shut until Feb. 27.

Alan Pardew: "There was a number of clubs chasing Papiss during the transfer window, but the deals all fell down for one reason or another.

"Sometimes it was financial, other times he wasn't interested.

"He had the chance to move to Turkey but decided against it.”
