Fabricio Coloccini: “A lot of people have been at the club a long time.

“Tim Krul has been here nearly 10 years and myself six years.

“Rob Elliot and Ryan Taylor as well.

“We feel that passion the same as the fans. We have to show them we want to give something.

"A win against Crystal Palace is very important."

Alan Pardew's Newcastle have only won FIVE from 22 Premier League games, and if he wants to get the monkey (and the fans) off his back, a win against Crystal Palace is vital.

We have only won ONE from NINE since Palace last came to Tyneside.

Aston Villa 0 Newcastle 0
Newcastle 0 Man City 2
Liverpool 2 Newcastle 1
Newcastle 3 Cardiff 0
Arsenal 3 Newcastle 0
Newcastle 1 Swansea 2
Stoke 1 Newcastle 0
Southampton 4 Newcastle 0
Newcastle 0 Everton 3
Newcastle 1 Crystal Palace 0
Fulham 1 Newcastle 0
Hull 1 Newcastle 4
Newcastle 1 Aston Villa 0
Newcastle 0 Tottenham 4
Chelsea 3 Newcastle 0
Newcastle 0 Sunderland 3
Norwich 0 Newcastle 0
West Ham 1 Newcastle 3
Newcastle 0 Manchester City 2
Newcastle 1 Cardiff 2
West Brom 1 Newcastle 0
Newcastle 0 Arsenal 1

He has made nine signings, although two we won't see until next season (?), and the fans are giving him time to show they will make a difference.

So far he hasn't won them over, and comments that he wants the club to "finish tenth" is hardly showing the ambition the fans want.

They are poised waiting ... and if all fails, the "Pardew Out" banners will return.

Pardew came out with ANOTHER peal of wisdom yesterday.

Having said in the build up to the game at Villa Park "this is a ground where we have a great record - we have won there the last two seasons - and I think we can do it again" ... he said yesterday "I don't think anyone, including Newcastle fans, expected us to win at Villa Park".

WTF?
