Alan Pardew: “What you have to remember is that the outlay Man City have made means their squad is very, very deep with talent.
“They don’t give you a lot of room to break them down.
“And they rely on their offensive players, rather than committing defensive players forward, so it makes it difficult to score.
“But we also have weapons that can be used.
“We got a great result against Liverpool and maybe that can inspire us to reach similar heights against Man City.”
