Pardew And His 'Positives' Quote

After every defeat it's the same old scratched record from the former West Ham boss: "We will take the positives out of the game."

It's not even an excuse ... it's a failure to understand why the defeat happened in the first place.

It's 'skipping the question'.

Alan Pardew: “The most important part is to absorb the criticism we’re going to get this week and try to utilise it to take us forward.

"We look at the positives.

“I’ve got to be positive. That’s how I’ve got to think. If I think negatively, I’ve got no chance.

“It was a day I want to forget, but it happened, and I can’t run away from it.”

Nope, the record books will always remind him!
