THE MAG -

The Alan Pardew celebrity cheerleaders/fan club were out in force earlier this season with their ‘Pardew for England’ calls, though surprisingly little to be seen or heard of Ian Wright, Patrick Barclay and the rest of the gang recently.

Saturday teatime has seen Alan Pardew and Crystal Palace make it 10 games without a win in the Premier League with defeat at West Brom, only 3 points from the last 30.

Comments are taken from the top Crystal Palace message board holmesdale.net, well worth a read…

‘Alan Pardew has got to go, a total shambles, a side with no shape no fight no confidence, get your letter in the post.’

‘Look at him on the sideline. He looks petrified because he has no clue!’

‘No plan B. Wickham and Adebayor do not work together. At this rate we will be going down.’

‘Sack Pards put him out of his misery. Moyes is the answer.’

‘Hysteric pants wetters go away. He’s on a bad run. Give the guy a break.

He’s been fab for the previous twelve months before this run started and has got us within touching distance of Wembley.

I’d rather sack you lot as Palace fans than him as manager.’

‘Pardew is f***ing clueless. The toon fans were completely correct.’

‘I like Pardew and he has a relationship to the club that no one that can replace him will have. But how long can we let this slump go on for, Holloway, Warnock both got the sack with shorter bad runs. Now Pardew is much better than either of them but he is seriously lacking in some departments. If we get no signs of a comeback today and nothing at Sunderland then I think he needs to go.’

‘We deserve to be 3-0 down, playing games a 442 is not the Palace way. The Mags are gonna be flooding our forums later with huge delight.’

‘Ten games no wins pardew is clueless sack him tonight, Bolasie back tonight – we are a one man team.’

‘Pardew has all the signs of being a one trick pony.

Teams have now figured out how to beat us as they did with Newcastle.’

‘I can’t see us winning any of our remaining fixtures at the moment.

I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again. We can’t defend, and we can’t score…. Scoring twice after being 3-0 down isn’t something to get carried away by. At this rate we will get relegated.

Pardew’s only saving grace at the moment is that I can’t think of someone better to replace him with.’

“Geordie

‘Good job the teams below us all lost, Pardew has one game left to save his job in my opinion.’

‘Poor tactics by the manager cost us today. He better admit that he got it wrong and not blame the players, weather or any other f***ing thing.’

‘Is Pardew really worth a new improved contract? We would have sacked any other manager long ago for serving up this unadulterated tripe.

The team now looks unbalanced and lacking in any organisation or semblance of tactics. Our role models seem to be Blackpool!’

‘Problem always is when you are in a slump you tighten up things defensively.

Pardew has never (and will never) have this in his locker. Happened at Newcastle that as the quality of attackers went down so did results.

In a trench he isn’t the person you want managing.’

‘Serious candidates for relegation if we do not win at Sunderland on Tuesday, with just 3 points from a possible 30.

Sorry to be so negative but time to wake-up and smell the coffee!!’

‘Tactically got it wrong! Bolasie had to start and why take off a striker with class when in need of a goal?

It was all about the service not the striker being the problem.’
