Sam Allardyce appears to have assembled a fabulous squad, and there are no fears of anyone shooting off to Liverpool or Arsenal, as we read in the London media only last week.
Owen is settled, and seems more pleased than concerned about the competition for places in the team.
Owen: "There's a real buzz around the squad.
"There's lots of competition for places which is good. I think we've got as much competition as any of the big boys."
